Some days you’ve totally got your act in gear.
And then there are other days where you don’t. Like the kind of days where you’re forced to use holiday muffin tins for pumpkin muffins at the end of October.
Good thing the horde of hungry kids at snack time didn’t notice.
Sometimes you can’t always be Suzie Homemaker. Sometimes birthday dinner comes pre-made from the Wegmans bakery and is topped at home.
(cheaper and at least slightly healthier than take out!)

Eating too many Christmas treats and not nearly enough fruits or vegetables

All while there was serious work to do at home.
It’s not Thanksgiving, but that doesn’t mean I can’t give some thought to all the things I’m thankful for these days.
I’m thankful for kids that are too big to fit down the laundry chute.
I’m grateful that the little one who I worry COULD possibly fit down there played at the downstairs laundry chute location that is three feet off the floor.
I’d like to give thanks for salad and what a portable meal it can be. Thank you Gladware for making lunch possible at my new home away from home, while taking a little unpacking break before heading home to get ready for an evening out.
