Chocolate Crunchy Coconut Oil
Squares
1 c coconut oil,
melted
1/2 c almond butter (or whatever nut butter you like)
1/4 c cocoa (or cacao) powder
1/2 c sliced almonds
1/2 c shredded unsweetened coconut
pinch of sea salt (optional)
1/4 c maple syrup, honey or sugar*
Combine
oil and nut butter. Stir in cocoa powder,
nuts, coconut, salt and sweetener.
Pour
into mold (silicone mold or paper cupcake wrappers) and move to freezer for
at least 30 minutes. Remove from mold and transfer to freezer safe
container,
store in the fridge or freezer.
These
will be very firm if you eat them straight out of the freezer, they will be
softer when stored in the fridge.
