Some days you’ve totally got your act in gear.
And then there are other days where you don’t. Like the kind of days where you’re forced to use holiday muffin tins for pumpkin muffins at the end of October.
Good thing the horde of hungry kids at snack time didn’t notice.
Sometimes you can’t always be Suzie Homemaker. Sometimes birthday dinner comes pre-made from the Wegmans bakery and is topped at home.
(cheaper and at least slightly healthier than take out!)
Sometimes you let your kids skip a vegetable and have Annie’s Mac and Cheese as their side at said birthday dinner.
Suzie Homemaker isn’t skipping her vegetables, especially when it’s artichoke hearts, banana peppers and mushrooms coming straight at ya from a slice of pizza.
And while you’re at Wegmans scrounging for birthday dinner ingredients, don’t forget a little something sweet.
“Little” is important as it saves you from leftovers.
Leftover treats haunt Suzie Homemaker in her sleep.
Fortunately, even on the days Suzie doesn’t have her act gear,
at least there’s still cake.
