Did you know that if you let your 5 year old play with an alarm clock that you found in a box of hand me down toys, said 5 year old will inadvertently set the alarm to go off at 5:13? And did you know that this certain 5 year old will completely sleep through that alarm when it goes off at 5:13 on a Sunday morning?
Did you know that if you lay in bed long enough and pretend to be sleeping through the alarm, your husband will eventually get up and turn it off. And if you say “Oh! Since you’re up…” you can convince him to help you make huge strides in the effort to pack up all of your worldly belongings in preparation for the move to a new house?
Did you know that the space in front there used to be full of bins of toys, clothes, boxes, along with the last of the baby items that now have found new homes? Be impressed with this picture. It looks a lot better.
Did you know that when it’s been months since you’ve had a breakfast cookie they taste incredible after a 7.5 mile Sunday morning run?
Did you know this chocolate breakfast contains 478 calories and was made with:
1/2 c rolled oats
1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 1/2 tbsp almond butter
1/2 smashed banana
1/4 c chocolate unsweetened almond milk
1 Tbsp of flax seed
Did you know that snacks on the road taste better when you’re dropping off household items to be donated?
Did you know that Ava’s new favorite song is Wannabe by the Spice Girls thanks to the discovery of this video on You Tube?
Did you know that not only do I own this CD, I still know all the words to this song? Did you know I found this CD today while cleaning in the basement and the whole family danced to this song over and over again in our car seats this afternoon?
Did you know we dropped the girls off at Zak’s mom’s house for a peaceful afternoon to get more packing done?
Did you know I forgot to get the mail yesterday and was happy to see my new Health magazine waiting for me this afternoon?
Did you know that I had a hummus sandwich with steamed veggies for lunch? Well, yes, you probably did know that given you could see it in the picture above.
Did you know I’m now enjoying a lovely snack of air popped popcorn with a little butter and a nice mug of hot tea at my desk with no one climbing on me, asking me for snacks, squeezing in behind me in my chair? Did you know this is probably my cue to go get those chair climbing snackers?
Well, if you didn’t know – you do now.
Wow, Spice Girls. Now that’s a throwback. I was obsessed…like totally and utterly obsessed. When their movie came out I made my Dad (he’s a great Dad!) drive all around the lower part of New York state and parts of New Jersey to find a movie theatre that was playing it. And even after that long 2 hour drive to find the movie he sat through the whole thing with me (I was 10.) Ah good memories.
Did you know your last two post titles have been oldies songs that have gotten stuck in my head? Well, this post title is one word off (do you know, instead of did you know). “One fine day” by The Chiffons and “do you know where you’re going to” by Diana Ross. Could the fact that I know that make me any cooler?? I think not, me being cooler is impossible.
Yay for the spice girls!! I have that cd on my ipod and still rock out to wanna be at the gym You gotta get her into more 90s music!! The 90s rocked.
No, I did not know that, but I’m glad I get to contribute to getting songs stuck in your head! Now I’ve got to cook up another head sticking post title for this morning!
Breakfast cookie. Wow, I bet those are good. LOL
I love the princess alarm clock and if you dont mind, can I link you back in a converstaion I am floating on my blog that centers around people not being able to trademark ingredients as basic as cashews, dates, oats, etc? Just like, Alison and I have talked about this….
Holla back if you dont want the linkage
xoxo
Creative post Love the alarm clock setting. What a way to wake up on a Sunday morning. Glad you had a more peaceful afternoon with a delicious looking hummus sammy.

my family thought I was the 6th missing Spice girl! HA
my son has an alarm clock that he’s lost a few times over the years bc it wakes the DEAD…just not him.
jeez.
you are going to be moving in no time! tick tock.
I need a big ole salad. My glass o greens didn’t cut it today, nor my baked Kale for dinner last night.
Nice day…xo
Woo hoo cleaning and the blue bowl!! Which reminds me, my exact same blue bowl is sitting on the table next to the front door…where we left it while giving out candy to trick or treaters. Don’t judge.
LOL I forgot we both have the same blue bowl!

I really wish that the ponies were singing to the song, you know sort of like a pony music video.
Right when I saw that CD cover, that one song–Naked popped into my head, and now I can’t get it out! help!!!
Awesome CD though!
