That's exactly what any runner I talk to says about having a GPS gadget. Since I can't afford a GPS watch right now, I allow myself some freedom by running for time vs. distance. Its amazing how free it feels when we're not married to the idea of running a specific route. Isn't freedom one of the reasons we run and yet we chain ourselves to our nice little measured out routes? Okay, so now I'm going overboard. With the one I have (from 5 years ago), I have to wear this little belt clip device about half the size of a deck of cards. I guess now they fit it all in the watch? So yeah, the watch a little clunky, but by comparison that's much better than wearing the bouncing belt clip. I think I’m a little out of the loop with the GPS devices.
