I was attacked running in downtown Chicago a decade ago and I really just dont make any effort to connect w/ random dudes. Women, yes. Men, no. And I still get whisteled/cat called/yelled/honked/etc at when running..it's like dude, that's sure the way to my heart, whistling at me. Love it.
