Speaking of cleaning, notice that barely in focus disaster of counter top back there? That mess was sponsored by yours truly from deserting the kitchen after birthday brownie dessert last night.
So! I’m sporting my stay at home mom outfit today and flashing you the international sign for “Get to Work”.
Yoga pants and inside shoes?
Check!
Toys to be picked up?
Check!
Laundry to be folded and put away?
Check!
Checking account begging to be balanced?
Check-ity Check!
10 AM and kids still in pajamas?
Check!
Yup – it’s a stay at home day for sure. I declare it.

I love wearing sweats all the time. And my job we wear scrubs, just like sweats, love comfy cloths!

GREAT DAY for us
well, just so you know I shamelessly cried all the way to my S&*(T job this morning wishing I could be home as stylin’ as you and doing laundry and chasing my tot.
Yesterday…oh sweet yesterday…was enough to put away forever my office clothes and go bag in the dump…put on my levi’s and apron and GET BUSY.
I did, though do all my dishes yesterday (3 times) and made all sorts of healthy foods and even, EVEN picked up everywhere!
day after days are a bitch!
should have not taken such good care of hubs ..and let him be “sick” a few more days!

hahah I totally can’t wait for your job some day, you think I’m crazy, but I’m not even kidding.
I just dropped the little one off for preschool wearing the exact same outfit as you, except for with flip flops. Lulu was in her pjs, looking much like yesterday and all the fancy moms looked at me up and down like I was crazy and said, “Uh…I like your hair.” I’ll take it! Now the true test is if we’ll clean ourselves up before pick up time…

Confession: I had chocolates as dinner last night. At least they had almonds. ;P So I went out for a 6 miler very early today and had loads of fruits, brown rice, and veg for bfast. Now I feel better.
I love sweats! I even go out in public wearing them. Yikes!

It’s a stay-at-home-wife day for me and man, am i ever glad? There’s so much to do and I need to get moving! Sometimes stay at home days are just so cathartic for me to get everything cleaned up and back where it belongs!
